Srinagar, March 16 -- Police have arrested four drug peddlers in separate incidents and recovered contraband substances from their possession in Kashmir valley.
Police on Sunday said that continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, it has arrested a drug peddler in Srinagar while patrolling from Bemina Chowk to Boatman Colony.
They said a vehicle that was coming from Bemina Chowk towards Boatman Colony was intercepted after being noticed driving suspiciously and recklessly trying to flee. However, the vehicle was tactfully stopped. The driver immediately jumped out and fled from the spot.
