Jammu, Nov. 14 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the suspension of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Sunil Singh in connection with an alleged slap incident involving a Block Development Officer (BDO).
DSP Sunil Singh, who was serving as the Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) for Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, has been suspended pending an inquiry into the matter. According to Government Order No. 541-Home of 2025, the suspension is being carried out under Rule 31(1) of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1956.
