Srinagar, Aug. 6 -- Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the forfeiture of 25 books alleged to promote false narratives, glorify terrorism, and incite violence against the Indian State.
The books forfeited include works by academics, historians, and activists such as Arundhati Roy, Sumantra Bose, A.G. Noorani and Victoria Schofield.
The notification has been issued by the Home department which is under the control of J&K Lieutenant Governor.
