Jammu, Aug. 9 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Police today carried out massive searches in the houses of Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK)-based terrorists as part of a clampdown on the terror ecosystem across several locations in Kishtwar district, said a police officer.
"The searches in the Kishtwar district were conducted in the houses of terrorists currently in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, who are carrying out their activities here from across the border," said the officer.
The police teams have been conducting searches at several premises, he said. The searches are aimed at intensifying the police crackdown on terrorism following activities in the district from across the border, said the officer.
