Srinagar, May 23 -- Jammu and Kashmir Congress Legislative Party Leader Ghulam Ahmed Mir has called on both the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to immediately reopen tourist destinations that were shut down last month due to security concerns.

Authorities had ordered the closure of nearly 50 resorts and tourist spots across the Kashmir Valley following a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which claimed the lives of 25 tourists and one local resident.
