Srinagar, March 13 -- Padma Shri awardee Javed Ahmad Tak on Thursday alleged that the recent budget presented by the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has failed to address the issues of specially abled persons of the Union Territory.

Tak said this while leading a protest of Jammu and Kashmir Handicapped Association here.

Dozens of specially abled persons holding banners and placards assembled at the press enclave in Srinagar today and demanded reservation for the handicapped people and a monthly pension of Rs 5000.

Talking to the media persons, he said that Omar Abdullah government has failed to address the issues of specially abled persons in his recent budget presented in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.
