Srinagar, Sept. 24 -- Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader from Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Azad, has served a legal notice to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh, alleging defamation after being branded as a "terrorist" during a press conference in Delhi earlier this month.

The notice has been sent through Advocate Nazir Ahmad Bhat.

The notice demands a public apology, retraction of defamatory statements, and a compensation of Rs 50 crores.
