Srinagar, Nov. 12 -- J&K Police has attached the house of jailed former president of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Mian Abdul Qayoom. The Police said Qayoom had used his Srinagar house for "furtherance of terrorist activities".
"Nalin Prabhat, DG-P, orders the attachment of the property of Pakistani agent and terrorist, Mian Qayoom!," J&K Police said on X.
Soon after the order the house was attached.
Mian Qayoom was arrested by J&K Police on June 25, 2024 in the killing of advocate Babar Qadri on September 22, 2020. Qayoom has since then been lodged in jail.
