J&K Assembly session summoned by LG for October 23 in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sept. 27 -- The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, has summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to convene in Srinagar on October 23.

An official order issued by the Legislative Assembly Secretariat today said the LG exercised powers under Section 18(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019, to call the session.

"In exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 18(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019, I hereby summon the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to meet at Srinagar on Thursday, the 23rd October, 2025 at 10.00 A.M.," the order read.
