Jammu, Jan. 6 -- Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today registered a case against a revenue official in a bribery case.
A spokesman of the ACB here said a case has been registered against the Patwari (revenue official), Pardhan Singh, of Tehsil Moungri in district Udhampur, and the concerned Girdawar for demanding and accepting illegal gratification from the complainant.
The accused public servant demanded the Rs 10000 bribe from the complainant for 'Virasiti Intkal' and providing 'nakal' thereof.
Since, the complainant did not want to pay bribe, he approached the Anti-Corruption Bureau for legal action against the accused public servant, he said.
