Jammu, Feb. 14 -- An army jawan sustained an injury from a sniper shot suspected to be fired from across the border in the Keri area of Akhnoor sector.
Official sources this evening said that a sniper shot was reportedly fired by the Pakistani Army towards an Indian post in the Keri area falling under the jurisdiction of Khour in Jammu.
"One Army jawan suffered an injury on his hand and was rushed to the hospital," they said.
On Tuesday, two Army personnel were killed in a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Akhnoor sector.
On Monday, an army jawan sustained a bullet injury along the Line of Control in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
