Patna, June 25 -- Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj party will enter the Bihar electoral battle with school bag as its common symbol in the assembly elections due in October-November this year.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) sources said here today that registered un-recognised political parties had applied for allotment of a common symbol for their candidates in the forthcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly elections.
Considering their request, the ECI allotted symbols as applied by them, the sources said, and informed that Jan Suraaj has been allotted school bag, a common symbol for the upcoming elections.
