Jammu, April 3 -- The Jammu Crime Branch has booked seven people, including owner of a paramedical institute and a property dealer, for allegedly luring and duping numerous people of Jammu and Himachal Pradesh of Rs 1.32 crore on different pretexts.

Five separate cases of fraud have been also registered to thoroughly investigate huge fraud.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Crime) Jammu, Benam Tosh in an official communique said that owner of paramedical institution from Kunjwani namely Irshad Ahmed of Dangerpora Pulwama (Kashmir) has been booked on the complaint of one Amardeep Singh of Nanak Nagar, Jammu for duping Rs 15 lakh on the pretext of providing jobs to three candidates.
