Jammu, Sept. 19 -- Police today arrested a wanted drug peddler, a country made pistol and heroin were recovered from him.
The arrest was made in Gandhi Nagar area here.
Police spokesman today said that under the supervision of SSP Jammu and the direct guidance of SP City South, SDPO City South and SHO Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Inspector Jai Paul Sharma, Jammu Police achieved a breakthrough with the arrest of the drug peddler and recovery of a heroin-like substance under Operation Sanjeevani.
He added that during patrolling, police team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar headed by PSI Abheyvir Kotwal along with other Police officials arrested one peddler from Sashtri Nagar, Near Shamshan Ghat area.
