Jammu, Dec. 29 -- Jammu Police along with BSF have booked two persons for allegedly brandishing a pistol in public in Satwari area on the city outskirts.
Police said that acting swiftly on a reliable input, police team in a joint operation with BSF, registered a case against two individuals who were allegedly roaming in a public area while openly displaying a pistol, causing panic and insecurity among the local population.
The accused have been identified as Manzoor Hussain and Suraj of Badhori, Tehsil Bari-Brahamana, district Samba.
As per the information received, he said that the duo was freely moving within the jurisdiction of the police station while exhibiting a firearm, thereby creating fear and disturbing public order.
