Vadodara, Feb. 1 -- Play on Day 3 of the Ranji Trophy encounter between Baroda and Jammu & Kashmir was delayed by nearly 90 minutes after the visiting team staged a protest, alleging ''pitch fixing'' at the Moti Bagh Stadium.
J&K players refused to take the field at the scheduled 9:30 AM start, claiming that the pitch had undergone a drastic overnight change, making batting conditions significantly tougher. The match finally resumed at 10:55 AM following discussions between J&K team management, umpires, and match officials.
