Karachi, April 19 -- James Vince's 70 from 47 balls helped Karachi Kings to a dominant 56-run victory over Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League.

Vince, who hit 101 in his first game of the competition, provided the backbone of the Kings' 175-7.

He came in at 60-1 in the sixth over after David Warner was caught at square leg for 31 and was only dismissed when he skied a catch off the final ball of the innings on Friday.

The 34-year-old hit four fours and a six, although he would have been run out on 10 had bowler Saud Shakeel not fumbled a throw from the deep, the BBC reported.

Warner and New Zealand international Tim Seifert, who made 27, were the only other players to score more than 20.
