Jalna, Nov. 26 -- The district administration in Jalna has announced strict measures to address the issue of stray animals in the city. District Collector and Municipal Commissioner Ashima Mittal has directed municipal departments to take action against owners who allow their animals to roam freely on public roads.
The directive follows increasing reports of animals wandering on major roads, markets, and other crowded areas, contributing to traffic congestion and posing accident risks. Commissioner Mittal instructed that legal proceedings be initiated against individuals responsible for allowing animals onto city roads.
