Jalgaon, Oct. 3 -- A 27-year-old man was brutally murdered with a sword and a sickle in the Kasamwadi area of Jalgaon city in broad daylight on Friday. The incident took place around 12:30 pm, leaving the locality in a shock.
The deceased has been identified as Dnyaneshwar alias Nana Bhika Patil (27), a resident of Kasamwadi. According to police, he had an old dispute with a group of youths from the same area.
On Friday afternoon, while Dnyaneshwar was standing near Ekta Mitra Mandal in front of his house, two men suddenly attacked him with sharp weapons, inflicting serious injuries to his stomach and thigh.
His relatives rushed him to the Government Medical College in a private vehicle, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
