Jalgaon, Aug. 14 -- A 21-year-old Muslim student and police aspirant, Suleman Rahim Khan Pathan, was brutally lynched by a mob of nine to fifteen men in Jalgaon district's Jamner taluka on August 12 this year.
The attack took place just meters away from the Jamner police station, triggering widespread outrage and leading to the arrest of eight suspects.
Suleman, a resident of Chhoti Betawad village, had travelled approximately 20 kilometers to Jamner town that morning to submit his Maharashtra Police recruitment application after completing Class 12.
