Bhubaneswar, Jan. 31 -- Union External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has appreciated the Odisha government for the successful organization of the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, held in Bhubaneswar from January 8 to 10.
In a letter to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Jaishankar praised the meticulous planning and impeccable execution of all aspects related to the organization of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas by the Odisha government, calling it commendable and praiseworthy.
The Union Minister noted that members of the Indian diaspora who participated in the event gave highly positive feedback regarding the hospitality extended to them by the state government, as well as the care and assistance provided during their stay in Odisha.
