New Delhi, Oct. 15 -- As the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh celebrates its centenary, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh today revisited a pivotal moment from India's constitutional history that reflected the political tensions of the time.

Ramesh recalled an incident from January 4, 1949, when the Constituent Assembly, under the chairmanship of then Vice President Dr HC Mookherjee, faced threats of disruption by RSS members during debates on the draft Constitution.
