Dausa, July 2 -- The newly laid 4-lane greenfield Jaipur-Bandikui Express-way for connecting the Rajasthan capital with Delhi-Mumbai 6-lane trunk expressway was opened today for regulated traffic on a trial basis. The clearance for regular traffic movement, after proper completion of successful trial would cut shorter, the Delhi-Jaipur journey period, to 2.5-3 hours, says NHAI Project Director (Dausa Unit) JS Joiya. During the trial period, traffic is to be allowed through selective entry-exit "interchange points" from Jaipur and Bandikui terminals only. Then it is to be opened for vehicles from Manoharpur and Kauthoon Highways and thereafter, gradually, the entry through a couple of more entry/exit points is to be opened. In the meantime...
