Thiruvananthapuram, July 31 -- Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar today alleged that the Congress and CPI(M) are responsible for complicating matters related to the arrest of two Catholic nuns from Kerala in BJP-ruled Chhattisgarh.

"The unnecessary drama and protests staged outside the jail and court in Chhattisgarh have only served to worsen the situation faced by the nuns," the BJP leader said.

"The politics of the Congress and the Left are rooted in opportunism and theatrics, never intended to truly help people," he alleged.
