Kolhapur, Sept. 13 -- State fisheries and ports Minister Nitesh Rane has asserted that Jaigad port will be developed as a hub to boost economic development of the Kokan.
Talking to reporters at Jaigad port today, Mr Rane said the development of Jaigad port as a hub will raise the income per capita of the Kokan people.
Mr Rane said that a discussion was held in yesterday's meeting of senior officials of various departments on the development of Jaigad port with the help of the central and state government.
