Sangareddy, Dec. 28 -- TPCC Working President Jaggareddy on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the BJP, accusing it of attempting to distort history and erase the legacy of the Congress party and its leaders.

He was speaking at the 141st foundation day celebrations of the Indian National Congress at the Sangareddy Congress office, where he, along with party leader Nirmala, hoisted the party flag.

Jaggareddy said it was ironic for the BJP, which he described as a relatively young party, to preach morals to the Congress, which has a 140-year history and played a central role in India's freedom struggle.

He alleged that a conspiracy was underway to ensure that the contributions of Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi...
