Wellington, Jan. 7 -- New Zealand fast bowler Jacob Duffy's outstanding run with the ball in 2025 has earned him a place in the Black Caps' squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) website, currently ranked second in the ICC T20I bowling rankings, Duffy enjoyed a prolific year, claiming 81 international wickets across formats in the last calendar year.
Mitchell Santner will captain the side and is set to feature in his ninth senior ICC global tournament. He will be joined by fellow spinner Ish Sodhi, marking a decade since the pair last featured together at a World Cup, when they played in the 2016 edition in India.
