Lahore, Jan. 31 -- Otago Volts pace-bowler Jacob Duffy has been called up to the New Zealand ODI squad for the upcoming Tri-Series in Pakistan, which begins at Gaddafi Stadium here on February 8.
Duffy, a right-arm paceman, impressed on New Zealand's recent tour of Sri Lanka, where he claimed 12 wickets across five white-ball matches, earning Player of the Series honours in the KFC T20I series.
NZ head coach Gary Stead noted that Duffy's inclusion will strengthen the pace-bowling unit, with specific cover for Lockie Ferguson, who is currently playing in the ILT20.
Duffy will travel with the squad to Pakistan on Monday evening, ahead of their first match in the Tri-Series against hosts Pakistan on February 8. Following that, New Zealand ...
