Bengaluru, June 29 -- A formal police complaint has been filed against Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale by the Karnataka unit of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Legal Cell, following his contentious remarks on the Constitution's Preamble. The complaint, lodged at Seshadripuram Police Station today, alleges that Hosabale's recent call to "reconsider and remove" the terms "socialist" and "secular" from the Preamble is an "attack on the constitutional ethos" and "incitement against the nation's founding values".
