Rome/Buenos Aires, June 7 -- Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Argentine President Javier Milei have jointly adopted the Italy-Argentina Action Plan 2025-2030 aimed at dramatically strengthening bilateral ties.
The move was made during Milei's visit to Rome on Friday, his first stop on a ten-day swing through Europe and Israel.
The plan, announced in broad terms during Meloni's visit to Argentina last November, facilitates cooperation between Rome and Buenos Aires in an array of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, critical raw materials, aviation, space and tourism. It also strengthens security and judicial cooperation, including the fight against organised crime and drug trafficking.
