New Delhi, Dec. 11 -- Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Rome next year. The invite was conveyed by Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani during his meeting with Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi Wednesday.
"Today there was a long meeting with Narendra Modi and the Indian Foreign Minister, and Modi accepted the invitation that I also brought on behalf of the Prime Minister (Giorgia Meloni)," he told journalists, adding, "he will come to Italy next year, and this is important," ANSA reported.
