New Delhi, July 5 -- Italian lawmakers have questioned the government about the spy attack on journalists. It was possibly performed using technologies supplied by the American-based spyware maker Paragon.

According to reports, the COPASIR parliamentary committee has urged the Cabinet undersecretary Alfredo Mantovano to overlook the matter of whether the spyware targeted reporters or journalists. Some reports also highlighted that Alfredo Mantovano is a close aide of Giorgia Meloni.
