Rome, Aug. 16 -- Italian senator from the right-wing Lega party, Manuel Vescovi, in a comment for RIA Novosti, called the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Alaska useful for opening dialogue on resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
"I find this meeting extremely useful. Two leaders representing two of the three world powers are meeting. We do not know what was discussed, but after many years of silence between the two powers, this meeting is crucial for finding solutions to both the conflict in Ukraine and international problems.
