Kolhapur, Oct. 9 -- The Income Tax department conducted simultaneous raids on the luxurious bungalow, steel factory, offices, and residences of city-based industrialist Anup Bansal in Maharashtra, Goa, and Uttar Pradesh, seizing important documents during the ongoing operation.
According to income tax department,the raids were conducted following information regarding Bansal's recent purchase of a luxury car valued at Rs 1.75 crore during the Dussehra festival. The searches began yesterday morning at his steel factory located in the Kagal MIDC area, his bungalow, and main offices in Goa and Uttar Pradesh.
