Mumbai, July 10 -- The International Spirits and Wines Association of India (ISWAI), the apex body representing the premium Indian alcoholic beverage sector, today raised strong apprehensions over the Maharashtra government's recent decision to impose a sharp increase in excise duty on Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). The announcement has triggered widespread concern among stakeholders in the state's alco-beverage industry.
