New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- To boost Delhi's electricity supply, power infrastructure and resolve issues regarding transmission, an upcoming important interstate transmission system (ISTS) project is going to be implemented, which will also cater to the rising power needs of the national capital.
With the implementation of the project, electricity from Rajasthan will be brought to Delhi.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has unveiled measures to make Delhi's power supply more reliable and robust by resolving a long-standing issue concerning electricity transmission while ensuring fair compensation for farmers, by securing a balanced solution.
This breakthrough has cleared the way for further strengthening the capital's power infrastructure.
