Jerusalem, Jan. 23 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's deep reliance on US President Donald Trump has placed him in bit of a political quandary, given that the Israeli premier is left with little room to manoeuvre around Trump's instructions, and reluctantly accepted an invitation to join his Board of Peace, despite some serious misgivings about the panel's composition, an anonymous Israeli official told The Times of Israel on Thursday.
The official clarified that in principle Israel broadly supports the concept behind Trump's Board of Peace, which has been presented as an alternative to the UN-an institution Israeli leaders have long accused of constantly singling out the Jewish state for disproportionate criticism.
