Tel Aviv, March 26 -- Israel is continuing its military offensive against Iran "with full force," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday, confirming the killing of a top Iranian naval commander in a targeted strike.
In a video message posted on social media, Netanyahu announced that Israeli forces had eliminated Alireza Tangsiri, the naval commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), describing him as a key figure behind efforts to close the Strait of Hormuz.
"This individual had a great deal of blood on his hands," Netanyahu said, adding that the operation reflects ongoing coordination between Israel and the United States in pursuing shared strategic objectives.
