Jerusalem, April 28 -- The Israeli Health Ministry reported seven new measles cases on Monday, adding to a previous case identified last week. According to the ministry, the eight patients are residents of central and northern Israel. Six of them were not vaccinated against the virus. Epidemiological investigations revealed that four of the cases were either contracted abroad or transmitted by individuals returning from overseas. Investigations into the remaining cases are still ongoing.
