Beirut, Aug. 31 -- The Israeli military on Sunday conducted multiple strikes across southern Lebanon using warplanes, guided missiles and drones, a local military source told Sputnik.

"Israeli warplanes carried out a series of heavy raids on several areas in southern Lebanon," the source said.

The strikes targeted the Haraj Ali Al-Taher and Al-Dabsha areas on the outskirts of the southern city of Nabatiyeh, the source added.
