Alberta (Canada), June 17 -- The Group of Seven leaders, meeting here for the 51st Summit, on Tuesday affirmed support to Israel, describing Iran as the ''principal source of regional instability and terror'', while US President Donald Trump left the meeting early after warning Iranian people to evacuate Tehran.

The G-7 leaders who are attending the two-day Summit, reiterated commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East and called for resolution of the Iranian crisis leading to a broader de-escalation of hostilities in the region, including a ceasefire in Gaza.
