Doha, Oct. 7 -- Amid Israel's commemoration of the two-year anniversary of the heinous Oct 7 massacre by Hamas terrorists, delegations representing Israel and Hamas are working in Egypt on ending their deadly war in Gaza and cease hostilities.

Delegations from both sides spent four hours for this purpose on Oct 6, as they worked to identify the key impediments to reaching a ceasefire, discussing at length the plan presented by the Trump administration.

Notably, the plan needs to be fleshed out as several details on the draft have yet to be worked out, according to Qatar's foreign ministry spokesperson Majed al-Ansari, reports CNN.
