Jerusalem, Sept. 30 -- Israel has called the flotilla currently sailing to the war-torn Gaza Strip in defiance of Jerusalem's blockade, proxies of Hamas. The claim was made after the IDF recently unearthed some of the terrorist organisation's documents in the Strip.

The documents according to the Israeli Foreign Ministry showcase the terror group's "direct involvement" in the fleet of activists currently sailing dozens of boats in 'solidarity with Gazans', reports Times of Israel.

According to the Jerusalem, the files tie flotilla organisers to the Palestinian Conference for Palestinians (PCPA), a Hamas-linked body established in 2018 that Israel designated a terrorist organisation three years later.
