Brussels/Jerusalem, Sept. 10 -- Deepening the ongoing diplomatic divide between Israel and Europe following the IDF strike in Qatar on Tuesday, the European Commission is mulling the partial suspension of trade agreements with Jerusalem as well as propose sanctions on far-right ministers, said Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
Von der Leyen's comments came a day after the Israel Defence Forces warned Gaza City residents to evacuate the area ahead of its plans to take control of the city, as well as the IDF airstrike in Doha which killed some of Hamas' top leaders, specifically the ones who masterminded the October 7 massacre in 2023, reports Times of Israel.
