Srinagar, April 3 -- Jammu and Kashmir is expected to experience isolated light rain and thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds ranging from 40 to 50 knots in next 24 hours.
According to the Meteorological Department, thunder with gusty winds is expected at few places towards late afternoon on Thursday.
Over the coming days Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience varying weather conditions, with light rain and snow expected in higher reaches.
MeT said Kashmir valley will witness generally cloudy skies with the possibility of light rain and snow in the upper reaches particularly North Kashmir and the Sonamarg-Zojila axis on Thursday.
