Hyderabad, Nov. 24 -- The Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering & Telecommunications (IRISET) celebrated its 68th Annual Day on Monday evening, with ISRO Chairman and Secretary, Department of Space, Dr V Narayanan delivering the keynote address.
The premier Centralised Training Institute of the Railways, known for its specialised training in signalling and telecommunications, marked another year of growth, innovation and capacity-building.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Narayanan said rapid technological advancements will soon make real-time monitoring of all trains across the Indian Railways network a reality.
