Rotterdam, Aug. 25 -- Ireland's quest to feature at next year's ICC Women's T20 World Cup has been boosted by their unbeaten run at the ongoing ICC Women's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier in the Netherlands.
Gaby Lewis' side cruised to an emphatic 179-run victory over Germany on Sunday to make it four wins on the trot at the European Qualifier and in the process booked their place at next year's Global Qualifier.
The Global Qualifier is scheduled to take place in Nepal in January, with the top four teams at the event then progressing through to the 10th edition of the T20 World Cup in England and Wales in the middle of next year.
