Baghdad, March 17 -- Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani met here Monday with visiting Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar to discuss bilateral relations and energy cooperation.
During the meeting, al-Sudani reaffirmed Iraqi government's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Turkish companies across various fields, particularly in the energy sector, as Iraq is working to diversify its energy sources, according to a statement from al-Sudani's media office.
