Tehran, March 26 -- Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein have exchanged views on Israel's renewed attacks against Gaza and Lebanon.

In a phone conversation on Monday, they discussed the latest developments in the Middle East region, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

Iran's foreign minister condemned the continuation of Israel's "genocide in Gaza, frequent aggressions against Lebanon as well as killing of innocent women and children," saying they were being committed "in flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreements with Hamas and Hezbollah and with the U.S. green light."
