Tehran, Jan. 5 -- Iran has already managed to successfully withdraw all its funds held in Venezuela, the head of the Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce, Majidreza Hariri, said on Monday, as the surprise attack and capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, and his wife Cilia Flores by US forces, has led to massive deepening of political uncertainties in the Latin American nation.

Talking about the retrieval of stored funds, Hariri said "Anyone who had money in Venezuela has already taken it out," said, responding to questions about Iranian assets estimated at around $2 billion, reports Iran International.
